How can we help?

Support for Truestar is handled directly by the people who make it. Email hello@143meridian.com.au and we aim to reply within two business days (Sydney time). In the app, Settings, then Contact support starts the email for you.

Most answers below mention Settings in Truestar. On iPhone, swipe in from the right edge of the screen and tap Settings. On iPad, Settings is in the sidebar.

How do I get Truestar?

Truestar is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with a companion app for Apple Watch. It's free to download and use. Truestar Premium adds more, and both the monthly and yearly plans start with a two month free trial.

How does the free trial work?

You won't be charged during the two months. Three days before the trial ends, Truestar reminds you (if you allow notifications). If you do nothing, the trial turns into the plan you picked and Apple bills you from that day. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.

How do I cancel my subscription or free trial?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Truestar. You can also do it from inside Truestar: Settings, then Premium, then Manage subscription. Cancel at least a day before the trial or billing period ends and you won't be charged again. Your data stays yours either way.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles payments, so refunds go through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and choose the Truestar purchase.

I subscribed on another device. How do I restore it?

Make sure the device uses the same Apple Account you subscribed with. Then open Truestar, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases (it sits under Truestar Premium). If you're signed in to Truestar, Premium also follows your account to your other devices.

Does Truestar sync between devices?

Yes, once you sign in with Apple: Settings, tap your account at the top, then Sync across devices. Your iPhone and iPad then stay in step, and your Apple Watch gets its data from your iPhone. You can also use Truestar without an account, and everything stays on that one device. On a new device, choose "I already have an account" when Truestar first opens.

If sync seems stuck, check that both devices are online and signed in with the same Apple Account, then write to us if it carries on.

Can I export my Truestar data?

Yes. In Truestar, Settings, then Your data, then Back up data shares a copy of your Truestar database through AirDrop or Files. You can also email us from the address on your account and we'll send you a copy.

How do I delete my account and data?

In Truestar, open Settings, tap your account at the top, then Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more. This permanently erases your account and everything stored in the cloud, on every device, and it can't be undone. What's on the device you're holding stays there as Local only until you delete the app.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel that with Apple too (see above). You can also email us and we'll delete your data for you. The privacy policy explains what we store.

How do I report a bug?

Email hello@143meridian.com.au with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Screenshots or screen recordings help a lot. If Truestar has crashed, Settings, then Your data, then Send diagnostics shares the crash reports from your device with us. That row only appears once there's a report to send.

Which devices does Truestar support?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 27 or iPadOS 27 or later, and Apple Watch running watchOS 26.4 or later. Truestar includes Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities and watch face complications.
